Sunnie and Blayne's Elegant and Timeless Wedding at The Manor House in Colorado

Sunnie and Blayne's early July wedding weekend was truly a photographer’s dream. A Sunday rehearsal brunch in Downtown Denver followed by a Monday wedding at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. It started with a chic, laid-back rehearsal brunch at Call Me Pearl, a cool bar lounge right next to Coors Field. The vibe was perfect for an intimate pre-wedding gathering in a prime location. The food was amazing featuring truffle deviled eggs from The OG, the restaurant inside The Rally Hotel, where they also stayed. The place itself had funky and eclectic decor, which meant there was no need to bring in extra details! It was the perfect spot to have everyone together before the big day, especially since all of the guests had traveled to be there. Sunnie and Blayne love the Colorado mountains, and Denver made for the perfect backdrop for preparing to say "I do" the following day.

Their wedding venue, The Manor House, was just as stunning. Built in 1914 and visited by several prominent figures, including Roosevelt, the original owner had a vision for this stunning home built at the highest point of the property, just outside of Downtown Denver. This Colonial American house has so much character, with breathtaking views which made for beautiful photo landscapes all around. To the left of the ceremony site you can see Red Rocks Amphitheater, and straight ahead, between the mountains, the Denver skyline. The rooms where the couple got ready were so cool! Blayne was in the masculine library and Sunnie was in a large getting ready suite with an attached sunroom featuring a red vintage daybed. I just love when venues have such unique spaces for photo ops. Sunnie and Blayne didn’t do a first look, but we created a customized schedule that kept the day relaxed and gave us plenty of time for portraits and unique candid shots without compromising their wishes. The partly cloudy skies and breezy low 80's weather made frolicking around on the property a blast. At sunset, we broke away for some flash photos, which added a modern, fun vibe to their album and allowed the couple more time alone together on their big day.

As for the wedding details, this couple perfectly executed. From a golf-and-Razorback-themed cake to black fans and custom matchboxes, every little thing was personal. I also loved how they repurposed their ceremony flowers into a beautiful head table arrangement showcased around the beautiful white fireplace. Sunnie’s mom surprised them with an antique Rolls Royce for portraits, which brought an additional vintage touch to compliment their historical and elegant venue. It gave vintage, timeless, elegant, and chic in the best way!

The whole wedding was intentionally intimate with only their closest people there to celebrate them. The ceremony was very special with Sunnie and Blayne's childhood best friend officiating, making it personal and unique to them. During the reception, tears and laughs were flowing during speeches, the best deserts were being served and the dance floor was packed thanks to the amazing DJ who kept the energy high all night. The whole day wrapped up with a fun streamer exit that perfectly captured the vibe of this unforgettable timeless Colorado wedding.
